HSEi is a research and advisory organization focused on improving health systems through evidence, expertise, and stronger delivery infrastructure. Ndi designed the brand identity — translating a complex, multi-faceted mission into a visual language that communicates authority, trust, and human impact.

The challenge

Health institutions often default to sterile, corporate aesthetics that distance them from the communities they serve. HSEi needed an identity that felt rigorous and credible without sacrificing warmth and purpose.

Our approach

The identity design process began with deep stakeholder alignment — understanding how HSEi's internal teams, research partners, and public audiences each experience the brand differently. The resulting system works across all three contexts.

The outcome

A complete brand identity system — logo, type system, color language, and application guidelines — that positions HSEi as a trusted voice in African healthcare.
